The Rev.Dr. Marcia Mount Shoop (MDiv, PhD) is the author of Touchdowns for Jesus and Other Signs of Apocalypse: Lifting the Veil on Big-Time Sports (2014) and Let the Bones Dance: Embodiment and the Body of Christ (2010). She is the co-author of A Body Broken, A Body Betrayed: Race, Memory, and Eucharist in White-Dominant Churches (2015). She is a theologian, minister, activist, and blogger at www.marciamountshoop.com She also has chapters in multiple anthologies dealing with trauma, motherhood, and embodiment. Marcia's writing reflects her experiences as a woman, a mother, and a football coach's wife as well as from her years of work on difficult issues, dialogue, and healing around race, gender, cross-cultural community formation, ecumenical and inter-faith dialogue, and sexual violence. She is currently the Pastor/Head of Staff at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church (PCUSA).
