Who is Marcos Ventura? Marcos Ventura did work with artist friends from other parts of the world for a magazine called DECKARD, a comic book based on Blade Runner's fiction, to honor the work of Philip K. Dick (this in 2016), published in Barcelona- Spain and on the Amazon Kindle. The script he did on DECKARD became a collaboration on the series “Raised by Wolves” in which the idea of an android running counter to science's expectations is speculated to have a child. He was a collaborator on the game Tekken Tag Tournament 2. The final script for Tekken Tag Tournament 2 was rejected by the Tekken director, so it became a collaboration with The Boys, in which Black Noir is actually a Nicolai Jack derivative. He collaborated with The Walking Dead from season 9 to season 11. He made a Nicolai Jack story called “Son Sagrado” with Studio QUANTUM Quadrinhos, published on Gateway Comics in the US and printed in Brazil. He posted Nicolai Jack on Amazon, is currently working on other character projects. He is the creator of Nicolai Jack "The Warrior of Shadows". Strange habit: When I'm not sleepy it's because I'm having ideas... How it all began... I was born in the countryside of Minhas Gerais at the age of 22, I came to live in the greater Vitória-Espirito Santo, I had already studied comics since I was a teenager in Minas Gerais, when I arrived in Vitória I already had a lot of experience, so that's when I decided to create my own characters, my own stories, so in 2000 Nicolai Jack was born, I did a lot because it was my first story as a professional, so in a few months the first story was ready, I mean almost ready, it still lacked colors and letters by computer, I didn't have this experience and I had no partners, I picked up the phone catalog and started calling web designer companies and other studios talking about my project and what I was doing, so on the third call someone got interested and decided to schedule an interview and told me to take all of my project, was a web designer studio called WDesigner. When I got there I was a bit nervous, I went into the studio, it felt like a very comfortable studio, there were some computers, very modern for the time, and there were some web designers working, they all looked at me, so I sat down and the studio director, Guilherme Borges, started making questions and looking at my project, it took a few minutes and he looked at me and asked: What do you think about completing your project here at WDesigner? What do you think about publishing your stories on the WEB? That was a great opportunity, although I didn't know anything about web designers since it was the year 2000 and not everyone had a computer, much less internet, but I accepted immediately! The next day I was there in the studio, working on my project, the web designers took care of the site and I took care of the stories, it took a few months and there were two web designers who always gave me something in their field and I tried to give me something from comics for them (remembering that almost every area of design that you add comics for knowledge you grow in it, be it web design, animation, storyboard, architecture....). It was there that I started in computer colors, but still I wasn't ready to color a comic book, so I decided to publish it on the WEB in black and white, not to mention that my art had a lot of shading characteristics at the time, and it left a lot well! As I said, the web designers always helped me a lot there, I remember it was 15:00 in the afternoon and they would have a snack, sometimes I didn't have money to buy snacks and Henrique and Vinícius bought and shared with me, even in that they helped me! Suddenly I looked and the site was ready, before that we had to find a name for the site and we chose WEBCOMICS, the site was something new in the area, there wasn't much of this type at the time, we were one of the pioneers, until Abril Publisher it was sponsoring the site and put a banner if I'm not mistaken from Digimon magazine on the site, I was very happy with everything, until something went wrong, there was something wrong I fell out with Guilherme! In that case Henrique and Vinícius had already left the company, so as I had a misunderstanding, I decided to leave too and stop the project, it was hard for me, but it was decided! A few months passed if we decided to make up, even despite everything that happened, I didn't want to be ungrateful, because it was my school, I learned a lot from them, but the project could not go back, so I decided to go deeper into art and I started studying computer colors, talked to great artists in the area, had some quick classes, remote classes too and I was developing, at some time I was already making a new story and coloring everything, today I am a complete comic book artist.
