Marcus Abshire

Marcus Abshire grew up on high-octane action movies and blood-soaked slasher films and it shows. Born in Key West Florida and shipped all over the country with his family, you might think that being a military brat was a curse. Marcus would tell you otherwise. Moving from one state to another and having to find a way to fit in, he grew thick skin and a love for change. Maybe that’s why he’s done everything from bagging groceries, to pouring concrete, to shooting surface to air missiles in the Army, to getting shocked as an electrician and finally to being a Physical Therapy Assistant. Variety is the spice of life; they say, and they ain’t wrong. Marcus has written eight books, as of today, and he is furiously working on more. When his daughter isn’t causing him enough stress to cause the rest of his hair to fall out, he loves nothing more than sitting down with a great cup of coffee and cranking out stories that keep you up at night, having to read just one more chapter, just one more page. Marcus believes that in the darkness is when the light shines brightest, and his writing reflects that. So strap in and buckle up because it’s going to be a bumpy ride.
