My name is Marc K. I am a 57-year-old business owner of a screen enclosure repair Company in Brevard County Florida. Brevard Screen Repair. This is a poem I wrote about a baby Cooter turtle that washed up our driveway after a week of rain. I kept him through the winter and fattened him up. He was an intelligent little guy that I eventually released into a pond behind our home. I named him Gilbert, made a small dock with kids name plate for him to sun on. And is now back home where he belongs, with his friends and family. A True story about loss, fear, hope and caring. And learning to give and care for one of God's creatures.
