She shares an uncomplicated life (unlike her characters) with her life partner, whose love is as profound as his talent for cooking. When she’s not savoring his latest creation or losing herself in a story, Maree enjoys taking her two dogs, Sonny and Cher, to explore hiking trails while dreaming up her next plot.
