Margaret Peacock

Dr. Margaret Peacock is a Professor of History at the University of Alabama. She holds a MS from UNC-Chapel Hill and a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. Her work focuses on the International History of Media and Propaganda during the Cold War. She researches in Russian, Arabic, and English-language materials. She is also a WEA Certified Outdoor Leader and a Wilderness First Responder who runs study abroad programs with students hiking around the world. She has three incredible daughters and lives in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
