Margaret Meps Schulte

Margaret Meps Schulte is the award-winning author and illustrator of Strangers Have the Best Candy, The Joyful Bear, and The Secret Society of Cats & Chickens. In 2015, Strangers Have the Best Candy received international acclaim when it was awarded the Diagram Prize for the Oddest Title of the year, a 37-year tradition by The Bookseller (London). A former ocean-going sailor and peripatetic nomad, Schulte has swallowed the anchor and lives in Clearwater, Florida.
