Marguerite Locke

Marguerite Locke (aka Coach Locke) is a PE teacher in Houston, Texas. She believes PE is one of the most important classes in an elementary school because it's where we learn how to interact with people, handle our big emotions, push ourselves outside of our comfort zones, and how to interact with the world around us. Development and mastery of these skills provide the keys to success and happiness. Marguerite Locke wrote the Stories of Love Elementary series as a tool for teachers and parents to help kids better understand the world around them through PE. Marguerite Locke is also a mom, athlete, and a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community. When not teaching PE, her favorite activities are mountain biking, playing competitive soccer, running, and group exercise classes. She also enjoys coaching her son's soccer team, hanging out with her family, and spending time with her amazing girlfriend, Jen.
