Maria Coco

María Coco is a Mexican author and illustrator. After combining her design career with her love for exploring the world, she decided to follow her heart and earned a master's degree in children’s book illustration at Cambridge School of Art. She loves creating simple and bold characters and very much enjoys the textures, color overlaps and unexpected results of printmaking. Her work has won some International awards and recognitions and it has been published in Spain, but Dogs Love Books, Too is her first picture book to be published in the US. Being surrounded by nature with her little family is her happy place. María Coco is represented by Lori Steel at Steel Works Literary.
