Maria Dawn

Maria Dawn is a writer with a heart for storytelling and social impact, whose journey from the snowy landscapes of Sweden to the vibrant streets of Cape Town has fueled her passion for making a difference. As a qualified life coach and an award-winning author, Maria has spent over a decade writing everything from personal development books to impactful landing pages. Currently an honorary director of Little Angels, an NPO educare center in Cape Town that serves children and adults in need, Maria’s commitment has deepened her understanding of education and community work. She personally raises kids from the township and has, in the process, learnt a lot about neurodiversity and the challenges it presents for parents and teachers alike. When not in mom-mode or work-mode you’ll find her hiking, baking, dancing, reading, or writing (yeah, she does that for fun, even if it’s her job).
