Maria Garraffa

Dr. Maria Garraffa, BA, MSRes, PhD, is Associate Professor of Speech and Language Therapy/Language Sciences at the University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK where she leads the research Lab "LangLifeLab". Maria is Research Visiting Professor at the University of Oslo, Board member of the British Council/Malaysia Board and Honorary Fellow of Bilingualism Matters. Her research interests focus on the developing of linguistics assessment for communication impairments, language development in children from social deprived backgrounds and speakers of more than one language. In her studies, she has adopted a range of methodologies including online and offline behavioural methods, single case and group studies, linguistics and cognitive screenings.
