Maria Liberati

Maria Liberati is a former international model, entreperneur turned Celebrity Chef/Award Winning Author. Born in Philadelphia, Pa. Maria has lived and studied all over the world. Maria's first love was languages and she went to Temple University to become a linguist studying Italian, French and Spanish. Her international modeling career led her to Europe and ultimately studying the culinary arts in Italy when she connected with her family. She was summoned to Italy first by International artist Sergio Terzi, known as Nerone, who wanted to paint her portrait. While posing for this portrait at his studio in the hills of Reggio-Emilia, Maria began studying the art of Parmigiano-Reggiano and fell in love with the culinary arts from there... She continued studying at her great grandfather's vineyard in the mountains of Italy, then studying the culinary arts in Italy and teaching culinary programs at some of Italy's most elegant resorts and wineries. The portrait by Nerone was exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and many museums of Europe.
