Marina Royzman Kushnir is a distinguished sculptor and doll designer renowned for her surreally realistic OAK dolls and sculptures. For over a decade, she held the position of principal sculptor at the legendary Madame Alexander Doll Company, widely known for its high-quality collectible dolls. Her latest project, "Circe and Aliyah's Rockin' Dress-up Adventure," is the first book in the Cut Couture series, following her success with illustrating "What If All the Hippos Got Loose and Came to Live with Us?" written by her friend Mary King and published in 2021. This time, Marina has taken on the role of both storyteller and illustrator, with the assistance of her friend, writer and journalist Robert Edward Anasi, who transformed her book concept into words. She also received guidance from NYC veteran singer-songwriter Lee Lawless, who ensured the authenticity of Marina's drawings. The book features 50 pieces of clothing and 18 lead and bass guitars, as well as amplifiers that serve as doll stands. Marina currently resides and works in both New York City and Los Angeles.
