Marion A. Kaplan

I teach modern European history and modern Jewish history at NYU. Born in Newark, NJ, of refugees parents from Hitler's Europe, I have grown up thinking about racism and minority rights, about victims and about how victims can exert their agency within limits set by their societies. I love teaching and I love researching and writing.
