Mark Bussler is the prolific artist, filmmaker, and writer behind numerous science fiction, history, photography, gaming, and how-to-draw books. His works include 1939 New York World’s Fair: The World of Tomorrow in Photographs, The World’s Fair of 1893 Ultra Massive Photographic Adventure series, Ethel the Cyborg Ninja, All Hail the Vectrex, How To Draw Digital by Mark Bussler, Chicago 1933 World’s Fair: A Century of Progress in Photographs, Old Timey Pictures with Silly Captions, and more. Mark is the creator of the Turbo Volcano clothing brand and runs Classic Game Room Publishing. Many of his film projects can be seen on PBS that include Expo: Magic of the White City narrated by Gene Wilder, Horses of Gettysburg, and Westinghouse. Mark created Classic Game Room in 1999, the longest-running Internet video game review show in the world. He returned to documentary filmmaking in 2019 for a film titled A Good Time at the 1939 New York World’s Fair. Mark draws in digital and physical media and often combines the two. His designs appear on thousands of clothing products, shirts, mugs, and prints. As of this publication, he is working on numerous comic books and manga series, including Omega Ronin, Magnum Skywolf, and Robot Kitten Factory. Mark is an avid reader of classic science fiction, comic books, manga, and antique newspapers. He lives in deep space with his family and a psychotic dog. Mark is the editor-in-chief of 80sComics.com and continues to produce 80sComics video content that runs on YouTube and TikTok.
