Mark wrote his first twelve pages at the age of ten, complete with drawings of a prairie fire, Indians, and a stampede. More recently he’s authored books of epic fantasy and historical fiction for the Christian and the general market. But Mark E. Fisher’s eighth novel began a five-book series of bestselling Christian end-times novels closely based on the books of Revelation, Matthew, Joel, Ezekiel, Daniel, and others. He is working on a new series of Christian end-times thrillers. Mark was born in Pennsylvania, went to school in Troy, New York, lived in Illinois, and settled in Minnesota. He's worked at welding rails for the railroad, as a quality control inspector in an auto glass factory, at administering Public Aid in Illinois, and finally, at programming communications microcode for IBM business computers in Minnesota. He once helped plant a church and is currently the treasurer and a board member of the New Gospel Frontiers missions agency, dedicated to educating Christian pastors and church planters in Central Asia. He has played acoustic guitar in a church band. Mark owns a nine-year-old miniature Australian shepherd, who insists on three walks daily, plus plenty of time chasing toys. Mark and his wife like to travel, with trips to Japan, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Ireland, Italy, France, Portugal, and Switzerland. Sometimes, when traveling, story ideas seek him out. When he's not walking his dog, eating out, or traveling, he's at his desk writing.
