Mark Hunter Brooks

Mark Brooks has had an interesting life. He grew up in a small North Carolina mountain town where everybody knew everybody else. After graduating from college, and using money he had saved from selling the local newspaper as a teenager, he moved to Manhattan. There, he used his business and technology skills to support computer networks and oversee projects for Fortune 100 companies. In 2001, he returned to North Carolina, where he continued this work. Mark has been a churchgoer since he was a child, but became what he called a “nominal” Christian. Then, in 2003, he began to have spiritual experiences, which have persisted to this day. They were traumatic at first, and it took him three years to discover (and understand) what was happening to him. Eventually, Mark began journaling his thoughts and experiences. His first book was written while he was working full-time and was published in January 2016. Books number two and three were published in 2017 and 2019. Earth’s Hidden Reality, his fourth book, was published in June 2022 after pandemic isolation allowed him to carve out large blocks of time to write. “It constantly amazes me that I developed the concepts in Earth's Hidden Reality without a formal background in philosophy, theology or science. I believe it was this lack of a formal education in these fields, along with an ability to see patterns and synthesize information into ideas, that enabled me to weave the non-physical concepts, processes and systems contained in this book into an internally consistent whole. I get excited each time I realize how well everything fits together and am especially gratified to see how these concepts can unify the world’s distinctly different scientific, religious and metaphysical worldviews. I also credit these insights to my conviction that the spirit world does, indeed, exist! Welcome to my journey.”
