Mark Knoblauch is a small-town Kansas native who now lives in a suburb of Houston, Texas along with his wife and two young daughters. A lifelong love of sports medicine started while a student at Wichita State University, followed by his Master’s degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. His interests then switched from clinical sports medicine to molecular science, studying skeletal muscle physiology while pursuing a PhD in Kinesiology at the University of Houston and then completing a post-doctoral fellowship in Molecular Physiology and Biophysics at Baylor College of Medicine. In his spare time he enjoys activities with his family, writing, and participating in triathlons.
