Mark Williamson has led several lives, both as a police officer and an HR executive. Living all around the US, from Florida to Kentucky, Alabama to Alaska, and finally to California, his police experience covered a wide spectrum of activities. In no particular order, he helped deliver a baby, backtracked a burglar through the snow, and fought it out with a fully robed member of the KKK in the parking lot of a strip club. One week, he had high-speed pursuits five nights in a row, with all the bad guys successfully caught and jailed. Weary of dealing with criminals, perverts, and dead people, he switched from police work to Human Resources and traveled the country hiring, counting, and counseling people in a variety of organizations. To balance out the unpleasant things he experienced, he also traveled to nicer places, including Italy, Scotland, Wales, and Great Britain. He is now looking back, trying to make sense of it all, telling (fictional) tales about life, and working on more books.
