Marlene Shiple Ph.D.

Marlene Shiple has a Ph.D. degree in Counseling Psychology. She founded and has operated Counselors Associated, Inc., a private-practice counseling service in Phoenix, AZ, for the past 35 years. She also founded The Life Coach Dr., LLC; through this entity, Dr. Shiple has provided distance Life Coaching products and services since 2000. Marlene specializes in retirement coaching, sports-performance enhancement, personal & relationship satisfaction, the treatment of trauma and stress, and the resolution of sexual dysfunction. In addition, she is a published author, lecturer, and provides hypnosis/hypnotherapy for habit change, pain management & reduction, and releasing mental-emotional blocks. She is dedicated to helping eager, motivated seekers discover Excitement and Purpose in their relationships and in their lives! Having first become involved with the treatment of NFL players in the late-1990s, Marlene spent 13 enjoyable seasons working with the Arizona Cardinals football team. She actively volunteers for the American Red Cross, Disaster Mental Health. She has been chairman of the Phoenix-area Red Cross Outprocessing Committee for the past 23+ years. A life-long advocate of regular exercise, breath-enhancing techniques, and healthful mind-body-emotions-spirit practices, Marlene hikes and bikes with her husband in the beautiful Arizona outdoors every chance she gets!
