Marlon Hethcoat

Marlon Joseph Hethcoat is an ordained minister and has served as a church pastor in the Baptist faith for over twenty-seven years. Originally from Alabama, Hethcoat and his wife Vivian have two adopted Hispanic daughters, Christina, and Lydia. He received his bachelor's degree from Auburn University and holds a Master of Divinity degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Rev. Hethcoat completed his Doctor of Ministry degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Currently, Dr. Hethcoat is an ESL Adjunct Adult Education Instructor at Northeast Alabama Community College, in Rainsville, Alabama. He has recently (June 2023), published his second book, called, Ranson's Destiny. This is a new book genre for Hethcoat--that of Science Fiction. Hethcoat published his third paperback book in March of 2024. Emotive Poetry is a collection of poetry which purpose is to evoke emotion from loss and grief to joy and laughter. Dr. Hethcoat recently (May 2024) published his first hardback book, entitled, Spiritual Renewal Bible Studies.
