Martha has been fascinated by historical life on the Western Frontier for as long as she can remember, especially the days of the gold rush, prairie settlers, mail order brides, and ranchers carving out a living in hostile landscapes. Martha also adores romance and the rollercoaster of emotions that paves the way for love to flourish. Once her own children got older, Martha decided to combine both of her passions and bring all her characters and their challenges to life in her historical western romance books. She loves nothing more than sharing the highs and lows of the brave women and rugged men who feature in her stories. She likes the baddies to get their comeuppance and happy endings that leave you feeling inspired and uplifted. Martha lives in the countryside with a multitude of four-legged animals to care for, as well as her hubby and grown-up children. When she’s not writing, she loves to enjoy her stitching and crafting hobbies.
