Marti Sowder

Marti Sowder was my wife of 50 years. As all couples do, we lived through some difficult times but those were the exception and not the rule. Early in our marriage, we were focused on our careers, she was a registered nurse and I was in medical laboratory management. After 3 years then came children, 3 within 4 years. By the time we had been married 10 years, she was suspected of having Multiple Sclerosis, it was confirmed within another 10 years, and 5 years after that she was medically retired and in a wheelchair. She never complained about her condition but accepted it as God's purpose for her life and chose grace and poise. She did exemplify the Grace of God. Always loving and willing to serve others, listen to their concerns, and offer encouragement or advice. During the last three years of her working life, she began writing what she wanted to express to her Savior and what she heard back from Him. This book is a compilation of those writings.
