Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA my early years were spent just barely on the right side of the tracks... actually 300 feet from them. At age 10 I moved nearer the center of the town. My early interests included making and flying model airplanes and building and using amateur radio equipment. I have held the call sign of W3VCG for over 55 years. The later passion led me to RCA Laboratories in Princeton, NJ. While there I developed numerous image conversion devices (image orthicons and vidicons), travelling wave tubes (TWT) and wrote extensively for professional publications. From there I moved to Barbados,B.W.I. where I designed and built the early stages of Over the Horizon (OTH)radar. On returning from Barbados I opened my own company, Martin L. Kaiser, Inc. The company offered industrial repair service and design of and manufacture of electronic eavesdropping (bugging), countereavesdropping (debugging) and bomb detection and disposal equipment concentrating on detection of improvised explosive devices(IED's). I am a charter member of the International Association of Bomb Technicians and Investigators (IABTI... www.iabti.org).
