Martin Sewer

Martin Sewer is an 8th Dan in Hung Gar Kung Fu under Grandmaster Chiu Chi Ling, his mentor, and instructor of 35 years. Sifu Sewer is one of very few martial artists to have trained in the traditional way in Hong Kong. Sifu Sewer has trained since 1978 in judo, karate, and jiu-jitsu in addition to kung fu. And has appeared on the covers of many martial arts magazines. Grandmaster Sewer has 10 Kung Fu schools throughout Switzerland. Sifu Sewer has also been awarded honorary doctorate degrees for his work and contributions to the martial arts. Besides The Iron Mind, he has published four other books and multiple training DVDs. Currently, Grandmaster Sewer lives in Zurich, Switzerland, where he continues to train in Hung Gar Kung Fu, as well as running his schools, writing, and teaching.
