Mary Fisher-Day

Mary Fisher-Day served the Dental Industry for more than thirty-five years. Early in her career, she served in both clinical and managerial positions within the dental practice. She observed the impact that Management Style has on the Practice Culture, Employee Loyalty, Patient Satisfaction, and ultimately the success of the practice. Armed with Experience, an Understanding of Dental practice Logistics, and a Love for Dentistry, Mary founded The Dental Business®, a Practice Management Consulting firm where she served clients for more than twenty years. She added Practice Transition Brokerage to her services in 2009. Mary has authored numerous articles and blogs for dental publications and was the featured guest on many podcasts and webinars. She is a speaker who has presented for Dental Study Groups, Dental Specific CPA Groups, Office Manager Groups, and more. Mary launched Legacy Dental Coach to provide personal transition advisor services after witnessing that most dentists are under-prepared and under-represented when making the most important decisions of their careers; buying or selling a dental practice. Knowledge gleaned through many years as a Practice Management Consultant and a Practice Transition Broker provides Mary has incredibly valuable insight that serves her clients well. As Transition Advisor, Mary serves in one of two roles. She does not provide dual representation. • As a buyer’s representative, she helps dentists successfully navigate the purchase of a dental practice. She has her clients back during the initial practice search, first look, review of practice data, obtaining financing, making an offer to purchase, due diligence, and the practice purchase agreement through closing. • As a seller’s representative, she assists dentists who are preparing to sell their practice. Helping clients prepare for, list the practice and navigate the sale of their practice. Mary understands the weight of every decision surrounding a practice transition and equally holds her client’s hand while having their back throughout the transition process. Mary is the founder of Bites and Business: Bites and Business events provide high value CE and Education in a fun environment. Mary is a Member of the Academy of Dental Management Consultants and the American Association of Dental Office Managers. She also serves as a board member for Dental Entrepreneur Magazine.
