Mary Galusha is originally from Montana where her immigrant grandparents homesteaded. So it's only fitting that her first book be a homesteading story. She fondly remembers listening to their stories of survival in a new country, which were at times, both frightening and sometimes hilarious. Mary has always read everything she could get her hands on. A few encouraging words from a couple of teachers made her dream of being a writer. After a career of being a grade school teacher, high school counselor and raising her two children, she is pursuing that dream. Mary's second book, RACHEL'S SECRET was a 2019 finalist in the San Diego Book Awards. She belongs to RWA San Diego, Hearts Through History and Faith, Hope and Love chapters. She now lives in southern California with her husband, where they both enjoy a yard filled with lots of flowers, birds and butterflies. She heartily enjoys her family and friends,as well as travel, reading, movies and playing casual games of bridge. Visit Mary at marygalusha.com Facebook.com/MaryGalushaAuthor Twitter.com@marygalusha
