Mary Pierce

Five things about me: (1) My first book (When Did I Stop Being Barbie and Become Mrs. Potato Head?) was published when I was 54. I followed it with two more. (2) I once played a horse in a play. The whole horse. (3) I'm a psychotherapist -- got my master's degree at the age of 61, the same year I started running. My goal: finish 100 races before I die. (Just completed race #40). (4) I love making art, especially collage and assemblage. What's better than fingers full of paint and glue? (5) I'm 74 now, publishing the first of the Mackenzie Prentice Mysteries.
