My novel, "Georgia's Hope," was about six years in writing and revising. It started out to be a short story based on a simple but disturbing confrontation I had with a young African-American girl, more than forty years ago. The story grew. Look for my second novel, "Hope Abides, in 2017. "Our Yucatan" is an anthology of stories by English-speaking writers living in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico. I was proud to be named the editor, and writer of two of the stories in the short volume. The stories continue in "Uniquely Yucatan," the second volume created by members of the Merida Writers' Group, now available at amazon.com. I have drawers full of short stories, waiting for revision and submission, which I'm slowly working through. About twenty have been published in online magazines. I live and write in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico, where the people and the climate are friendly and warm.
