Masimba Rupanga

At the age of 17, Masimba Rupanga embarked on a journey of entrepreneurship, starting with fabric sales in Tanzania. His ventures have ranged from transportation to tech, showcasing adaptability and perseverance, including a swift pivot during the Covid-19 crisis. Influenced by his parents’ entrepreneurial endeavours, Masimba’s business savvy was ignited early on. He honed his skills as a teenager alongside his father, trading shirts across Zimbabwe. At the age of 18, he was independently importing mobile phones from South Africa to resell in Zimbabwe. His professional journey has since led him to senior finance roles, including Group Financial Controller, Head of Group Finance Transformations and Financial Controller for UK-listed giants like Reckitt Benckiser and IG Group. His financial expertise was sharpened as an audit manager at Ernst & Young in London, managing prestigious clients such as British Airways and O2.
