Matt Kenney

Matt Kenney is a professional furniture maker, author, and woodworking instructor. He also is one of the hosts of The Matt and Joe Woodworking Fun Hour podcast. He's been making things from wood his entire life. As a kid in Florida, he'd help his dad, a contractor, around the house, and built tree forts and skate ramps with his brother. During his second year in graduate school, he started to make furniture. Five years later, a local professional furniture maker (father to one of his students) took Matt into his shop and taught him how furniture is really made. Eventually, Matt ended up at Fine Woodworking magazine, where in addition to his editorial and photographic work, he wrote articles for the print magazine, and appeared in videos produced for its website.
