Matt Kincaid PhD

Matt Kincaid holds an MBA and a PhD in Leadership Studies from Gonzaga University. As a consultant, speaker, and leadership coach, Matt works with organizations across the US, including many Fortune companies. As an academic, he serves as an associate professor of business at Heritage University where, along with his previous tenure at Columbia Basin College, he has been a top rated instructor for the past eight years. Matt’s work on servant-leadership has been published in multiple scientific journals, including the International Journal of Leadership Studies and the International Journal of Servant-Leadership. He has also led the efforts of four start-up companies and worked as a strategic-planning consultant for an array of Fortune 500 companies. Matt co-authored the critically acclaimed book, Permission to Speak Freely: How the Best Leaders Cultivate a Culture of Candor, which released internationally on March 20, 2017 via Berrett-Koehler Publishers.
