Matt Love

Matt Love is the publisher of Nestucca Spit Press and lives near the beach. He’s the author/editor of 22 books about Oregon. In 2009, Love won the Oregon Literary Arts’ Stewart H. Holbrook Literary Legacy Award for his contributions to Oregon history and literature. "It took a long time for me to get the writing going," he said "but it finally happened when I moved to the Oregon Coast in the late 1990s and discovered what the ocean can do to nurture creativity." In addition to writing books, Love teaches writing workshops and assists aspiring authors to prepare their manuscripts for publication, distribution and promotion.
