Matt Miller

Matt Miller has been teaching, performing, and composing music for over 30 years and is excited to share his knowledge through his new book, Learn Bass Theory in 14 Days. He began his study of music at the age of 7 on trumpet and as a teenager began studying classical guitar while performing in rock bands on electric guitar. In his young 20's he had the opportunity to play bass in a fusion band on bass guitar and quickly found out that the bass would be his primary instrument moving forward. As a performer, he has played with National artists like The Flock, Jeff Coffin of the Dave Matthews Band, Latin great Ignascio Berroa, guitar virtuoso Jeff Poland, American Standard, and the Count Basie Orchestra. As a private music teacher, Matt provides a diverse course study that covers all styles of music and with being proficient on bass, guitar, and trumpet, he offers a unique approach to studying music theory to the bass.
