Matt Ripert is a writer, cook, and BBQ lover born in 1975. Since he was a teenager, Matt has always had a passion for outdoor cooking, and for all his life, he spent every chance he had mastering his grilling and cooking skills, taking courses, and always experimenting with new recipes in his backyard. Before exploring his passion for cooking, he worked for several years as a banker, but that life didn’t satisfy him at all. So, instead of being tied to a life that didn’t make him happy, he decided to follow his passions and become a terrific cook. Nowadays, he enjoys writing books to teach others to create fantastic meals even if they have no idea where to start or lack the creativity to come up with new recipes to try. “Where there is happiness and laughter, there is a BBQ.”
