When I signed up for my first Ironman, I was in deep water. I was buoyant at best, didn't own a bike, and had only run a 5K race prior. Even more: I wasn't exactly built for endurance sports, having spent my highschool and college days playing offensive line, I had lived much of my life above 300 lbs. I didn’t know what to do, or where to look for help, but I knew I wanted to complete an Ironman, so I scoured for the best books, but they left me more confused than when I started. So I decided to take matters into my own hands and write a series of easy-to-use resources for triathlon rookies, like I once was. In each, you'll find no-frills, step-by-step guidance to get you race ready no matter where you're at today.
