Matthew Jasper Tompkins Sr.

I Matthew Jasper Tompkins Sr. was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pa in February 1973; I have five children, four girls, and one boy. I am the fourth youngest of five children. I have two older sisters, one older brother, and an identical twin. I graduated from Northeast High School in Philadelphia, Pa in 1991. Upon graduation, I moved to San Antonio, Tx with my older brother and my twin. I earned my associate degree in Applied technology and electronic engineering at the National Education Center in San Antonio, Tx in 1994. I enlisted in the United States Army Reserve in 1995, Later that year in 1995 I enlisted for active duty in the United States Army. I completed seven deployments, and three combat tours in Afghanistan and Iraq, and served two overseas duty assignments. While serving in the military I earned my bachelorette in Sports and Health Science and my MBA, I completed my certification for personal training with NASAM and my certification as a massage therapist with Cortiva Institute. I retired from the Army in 2016 serving 21 years. I have recently completed my certification in sound therapy and currently studying social psychology with the university of Walden.
