Originally focused on a career in finance, a yearlong battle with cancer helped Matthew change his mind and find his true calling as an author and screenwriter. In his fifteen-plus years as a writer, Matthew has sold several television and film projects (with one making it to the big screen) and has published three novels. While the genres his stories fall into vary, they all lean heavily on humor and heart while focusing on themes of empathy, empowerment, and family.
