Maureen M Uche, D. Min., BCC http://www.maureenuchesinstitute.com/ http://www.facebook.com/maureen.uches Dr. Maureen Uche focuses her work in the areas of Women's Spirituality, Gerontology, Chaplaincy and Pastoral Care. She has lectured nationally on theological and spiritual topics and is the author or editor of numerous articles and books including "Omu Spirituality: Women as Essential Mystics". Dr. Uche currently provides expertise on Spiritual Care issues, pastoral care, black religion, African American religious history, Social issues on aging and African traditional Religious issues to organizations. She maintains her teaching affiliations at Virginia Commonwealth University. She continues to serve as a spiritual care provider at several Hospitals in and around Richmond-Maryland metropolitan area. She is board certified (BCC) by the Association of Professional Chaplains. She received her Undergraduate education in Nigeria and completed a Doctoral degree and a graduate degree (M.Div.) at the Virginia Union University Richmond. She received her M.S degree in Gerontology from Virginia Commonwealth University and has a Masters of Arts in Christian Education from the Union Theological Seminary and School of Christian Education (Union-PSCE).
