Max Pigeon

Max Pigeon is an author, educator, visual artist and the founder of Pigeon Coop, a Canadian crafting company offering nature-inspired cross-stitch designs. Before delving into the world of needlework, Max worked as an elementary school teacher and specialized in outdoor education and dramatic arts. He wrote articles and developed several educational resources and school plays that focus on environmental issues and social justice. A trained wildlife biologist, Max strives to celebrate nature and share his admiration for the wild world through the designs he creates and the publications he writes. An avid reader, Max especially enjoys realistic fiction, garden-themed books, field guides of all kinds and beautifully illustrated children literature. Max lives in the Gatineau Hills of Québec, Canada.
