When Megan Castellan was 8 years old, she wrote a Christmas pageant, because she desperately wanted to be in a Christmas pageant, and attributed her own parish's lack thereof to a profound lack of extant scripts. This early fault of logic notwithstanding, she has gone on to further writing success, writing for online outlets as diverse as the Episcopal Cafe, The (late, lamented) Toast, and McSweeney's. An Episcopal priest, she has the joy of leading a church in Ithaca, New York, where she resides with her husband and small band of rescue animals. She is a big fan of semi-colons, and no one can convince her otherwise.
