Megan Liljenquist

Megan Liljenquist is an independent artist and aspiring author. She loves a good story and spends a lot of time reading folklore from around the world. She loves to create works that include history, magic, and storytelling... she isn't afraid to get a little spooky either! Graduating with a Fine Art degree from Arizona State University in 2010, Megan has spent much of her professional career working in positions to help give children of all ages access and education in art. She has participated in many community art projects and in 2016 was awarded the Boys & Girls Clubs of America's National Services to Youth Award. Megan lives with her husband and four children, plus a dog and a ball python named Myrtle. All of them (except the snake) tease her for how excited she gets about rocks and new nature documentaries. When she isn't creating, she prefers to be outside with her family either camping, hiking, or swimming.
