Megan Shea is based in Denver, Colorado, where she lives with her fiancé, Justin Dunn, and his daughter, Keeva Dunn. Megan’s debut children’s book, The Birthday Bunny, holds a special place in her heart. She began writing the book when her family was faced with a challenging time. As her mother courageously battled breast cancer, Megan searched for ways to bring light and joy during her journey. The inspiration for the book comes from one of Megan’s fondest childhood memories. Every year on her birthday, a magical bunny would create a scavenger hunt, leading her to hidden surprises. This cherished tradition, created by her mother, Janet Shea, and she is thrilled to be sharing it with you all! Though her mother watches over her from heaven, Megan knows that every time a child reads The Birthday Bunny, it will bring a smile to her face. A portion of the proceeds from each book sold will be donated to cancer research and patient care, supporting those facing their own journey. When Megan isn’t writing, she enjoys staying active, whether hiking, running, skiing, practicing Pilates, or playing soccer and tennis. If The Birthday Bunny doesn't go viral, she will continue in her career in software sales.
