Meghan Martens

Meghan Martens lives in New Paltz, NY with her husband, toddler daughter, infant son and 3 dogs. She has always had a passion for writing, and was inspired by the birth of her daughter to write her first children's book. Late night nursing sessions were spent writing and editing Penny's Wish in the notes app on her iphone. She let it sit in her phone for over two years before taking the plunge to get it illustrated and published. Penny's Wish has become a staple in her toddler's nighttime reading rotation, and she can only hope that other little ones will fall in love with the story as she has. Meghan is looking forward to writing more stories about the adventures of Penny and her brother Teddy as they explore their imaginations while tackling all of the new life experiences that young children face every day.
