His full name is Mehmet Baha and everyone calls him Baha. Since childhood, he has been fascinated by the question, “How can I make a difference in people’s lives?” His interest led him to win a scholarship from Fulbright and finish his master’s at the American University School of International Service (Washington DC) on the topic of “International Peace and Conflict Resolution.” Fluent in English, Spanish, Turkish, and German, Baha has lived and worked in Germany, Turkey, Cyprus, Ireland, Guatemala, and the USA, with more than twenty-four years of work experience. He was one of the first employees of Facebook in Europe and contributed to its exponential growth. Later, as distribution sales manager, he worked closely with the CEO of a German tech company that was acquired by Apple. Throughout his professional life, he has seen the importance of psychological safety and engaged employees. So far, he has delivered trainings and given talks in more than twenty-eight countries across five continents. Recently, he completed the Harvard Business School Online Education Program in Organizational Leadership. Currently, he lives in Berlin, Germany. In his free time, he loves to play percussion, travel with his family, and play basketball with his 7-year-old daughter.
