Melba Voskamp

Melba Pearson Voskamp has long been captivated by the duality of Truth and Beauty, and its presentation in the world around her. Author of several books including From The Cradle to the Cross, an Advent and Lenten Art devotional, and two children's books (written with her husband Caleb) – God Made Only One You and The Light Gift – Melba is a firm believer truth, beauty, and goodness are daily evident in the glorious creation all around us. Always excited to combine her extensive knowledge of art history with her personal faith and the power of the written word, Melba graduated from Harvard with a degree in Art History and earned her MA in Museum Studies at New York University. Her research and authorship focused on the intersection of faith and art, and through her writing she strives to share the glorious beauty of creation and art with the world. Melba married Caleb (whom she met many years ago in an online class for homeschoolers) in the fall of 2021, and together they run The Keeping Company, finding great joy in creating meaningful work that shares grace with others and leads everyone to keep daily company – gratefully and joyfully – with Christ.
