Melissa Garin

Melissa Garin is a storyteller, mother of two young children, and seasoned nomad. Drawing on her deep love for writing and her experiences as both an expat parent and a nomadic child, Melissa embarked on a creative journey to craft books that provide young readers with comfort, insight, and a sense of adventure in the face of change. Her "A World of" series, including "A World of New Beginnings" and "A World of Things That Won’t Change," explores the joys and challenges of moving and adapting to new environments. Her latest addition, "A World of Colors," invites children to immerse themselves in these imaginative worlds through interactive, creative play. Each book offers children tools for resilience, empathy, and curiosity, making Melissa’s work a valuable resource for families navigating change. Melissa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Communication from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and a Master’s degree in Information and Communication from Sorbonne University.
