When not on the road, Dr. McKenzie is either teaching at Keuka College in Upstate New York, or roaming the ocean beaches of Oregon. In writing about the rich subjects of religion and spirituality in the Pacific Northwest, I am developing a Platonic theory of place that helps explain the unique spiritual environment of the northwest corner of the country.
