Michael has over 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, serving as a board member, CFO, CEO, and consultant. He specializes in providing training and guidance to boards on financial and risk management, while also assisting CEOs in managing board relationships. Michael has served on seven nonprofit boards, including multiple terms as chair on two of them. Notably, he chaired a nonprofit during its merger and integration into a larger system, remaining on the board throughout the five-year integration period. With 40 years of overall business experience, Michael has expertise in strategy development, financial management, and program planning. He has collaborated extensively with cross-functional teams, including professionals in program management, IT, marketing, and finance. Michael is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), licensed in the State of Virginia. His broad skill set and leadership experience make him a trusted advisor in the nonprofit sector, helping organizations navigate complex financial and strategic challenges.
