Michael L Rampey

Michael L. Rampey is the founder of Parhelion Aerospace, a company that publishes drone logbooks and provides aerial (drone) imagery services. A lifetime professional aviator, Captain Rampey has flown a wide variety of jet aircraft including the USAF U-2 and the Dassault Falcon 2000 LXS. Captain Rampey holds the FAA Airline Transport Pilot rating, the EASA Airline Transport Pilot License and a scientific Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge, UK. An avid drone pilot, he has produced the "UAV Aircraft Logbook," which records the flight and technical data of an individual aircraft, as well as the "UAV Pilot Logbook," which is a commercial aviation-standard UAV pilot's personal flight log. These logbooks are parts of a developing collection of related professional books designed to be used by serious UAV operators and pilots.
